The Sexual Education for Children and Adolescents RA is a registered association established in January 2025. Our main goal is to advocate the rights of children, adolescents and families.
We have created a Citizens’ initiative “Law about sexual education for children and adolescents – Peaceful development must be guaranteed”. Now this initiative is a parlamentary initiativ.
The goals of our association include making the content of the law proposal notable in other European countries. Additionally our association’s purpose is to educate and inform families and to produce informative material. Also the association may be included in other rights and obligations concerning children, adolescents and families as well as supplementary educators or in related matters. Further, the association may conduct research related to children and adolescents.
(Finnish name of the law proposal is: “Laki lasten ja nuorten seksuaalikasvatuksesta – Lapsille ja nuorille on taattava kehitysrauha”).
